Abby Garaffa

Abby Garaffa is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Special Educator and Instructional Paraeducator at Elm Hill School, where Abby provided academic support and developed instructional units, as well as a Student Teacher in Springfield School District, responsible for planning diverse lessons and facilitating guided reading groups. Additionally, Abby worked as an Instructional Assistant at Union Street School, focusing on equitable access to education and providing social-emotional support, and as an Educational Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, aiding academically at-risk student athletes. Abby obtained Educator Licensure in Social Justice Education from Spark Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Food and Farming from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
