Rachel Gour Lavie has a diverse work experience. Rachel started their career as a Simulator Instructor at the Israeli Navy in November 2015, training and mentoring divers, cadets, and submarine commanders. During their time there, they also initiated and constructed training portfolios for senior trainers to enhance the expertise and operation of sonar systems. In December 2017, Rachel took on the role of Operational Planner at the Israeli Navy, where they planned and coordinated the unit's daily, monthly, and yearly activities. Rachel also redefined and updated the coordination officer's role within the navy framework and collaborated with other units both within and outside the navy force. In November 2021, Rachel joined Justt as a ChargeBack Data Analyst, analyzing chargeback data. Finally, in June 2022, they became a Research Analyst at Windward.

Rachel Gour Lavie is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Tel Aviv University, which they are expected to complete in 2024. In 2023, they also took a short-term program at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Engineering/Industrial Management. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Programming Using Python from campus IL in March 2021.
