Dr Naomi Verdonk

Dr. Naomi Verdonk currently serves as the Market Access Manager at Wine Australia, a role undertaken since December 2021, focusing on regulatory compliance for the import and export of Australian wines. In addition to this position, Dr. Verdonk is the Secretary for the Australasian Section of the International Wine Law Association and has held various academic roles at the University of Adelaide, including Lecturer, Researcher, and Course Coordinator. With a robust background in winemaking and law, Dr. Verdonk has worked in multiple capacities across the wine industry, including significant roles at Accolade Wines and Treasury Wine Estates. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Wine Science and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, alongside several other degrees in oenology and wine business.
