Barry R. Witt

Barry R. Witt, MD is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and Medical Director of Yale Medicine Greenwich Fertility Center. He has been practicing reproductive medicine since 1990. Dr. Witt is also an Associate Professor in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Witt earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Witt then held an academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was a member of the hospital staff at Montefiore Medical Center. He was program director for IVF and medical director for assisted reproductive technologies at Montefiore’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health for several years, directing the Donor Oocyte Program for 13 years. Dr. Witt joined Greenwich Fertility Center in 2003 as Medical Director. He also serves as the IVF Program Director, Laboratory Director of Andrology and Director of the Reproductive Tissue Bank.

Throughout his career Dr. Witt has received several awards and honors, including Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area for the last five years, and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
