Winfield Public Schools offer many opportunities for students through a comprehensive activities program. The community and district cherish and support the fine arts and academic programs in the schools and within the community as well. Career and technical programs abound in the curriculum as students develop skills for future career application. Winfield Public Schools has demonstrated rapid improvement on the state assessments during the past years. Our comprehensive sports program offers students a variety of team oriented experiences that will serve them well into the future. Winfield Public Schools is home to the 2020 Kansas Teacher of the Year, Tabatha Rosproy.

The Special Education Team at Winfield USD 465 is dedicated to providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs. This team collaborates to create individualized education plans (IEPs), implement effective teaching strategies, and facilitate an inclusive classroom environment. Members include Special Education Teachers, an Academic Coach, and a Para Facilitator, all working under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Special Education to ensure each student achieves their fullest potential.
