Ethelyn Abellanosa

Ethelyn Abellanosa is an experienced professional in human resources and museum operations, currently serving as a Recruiting Strategy Advisor at the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience since September 2022 and as a Recruiting Advisor at the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) since March 2023. Ethelyn previously held the position of Senior Manager of Human Resources and Operations at MOHAI from 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included developing and managing HR policies and programs while shaping the organizational culture. Ethelyn also owned 80th Street Consulting, providing strategic consulting to the non-profit sector, and worked at the Wing Luke Museum as Deputy Director for Operations from 2008 to 2013. Earlier roles include Associate Director for Administration & Human Resources at the Henry Art Gallery and Legislative Assistant for a Seattle legislator. Ethelyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Washington.
