Yoav Azerrad Klein

Yoav Azerrad Klein is a seasoned strength and conditioning coach, currently serving at Bnei Herzliya BC since 2024 and holding a prominent position with the Israel Fencing Association since 2013 as Director of Physical Preparation for Senior and Youth National Teams in Epee and Foil. Yoav has also contributed as an Olympic Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Israeli Olympic Fencing Team and has personal training experience with European champion Yuval Freilich. In addition to coaching, Yoav serves as the Head Coach of Physical Preparation at Hapoel - Emek Hefer Basketball Club since 2017 and lectures on strength and conditioning for fencing at the Wingate Institute since 2015. As a former professional athlete in fencing from 2000 to 2014, Yoav holds a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from The Open University of Israel.
