David Silva

David Silva is an experienced AI Software Engineer currently working at WINGCOPTER since October 2021, where solutions for detect-and-avoid and landing spot detection features have been designed. Prior to this role, David served as a Software Algorithm Engineer at Aptiv from February 2019 to October 2021, focusing on algorithm and software development for automated driving systems and contributing to the design of a multi-object multi-radar tracker. Earlier experience includes working as an Applications Engineer at Motofil Group from October 2016 to October 2018, where David designed robotic applications and developed machine vision applications with Fanuc robots. David holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro, attained in 2016.
