Paul English

Paul English, PhD, CSP, CHST, CIT, currently serves as Senior EHS & Risk Manager at Winland Foods since November 2022. Previously, Paul held the position of Area Safety Manager at Commercial Metals Company from March 2016 to November 2022 and worked as Health and Safety Manager at Sherwin Alumina Company from April 2013 to February 2016, where key contributions included developing a Safety Improvement Plan and writing a Corrective Action Plan for MSHA compliance. Paul also served as Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the Fire and Safety Engineering Technology Program at Eastern Kentucky University from July 2011 to April 2013, teaching various safety and emergency management courses. Earlier roles include Director of Environmental Health & Safety at E-ONE, Inc. and Senior Safety Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Adult, Professional and Community Education from Texas State University, an MS in Safety, Security & Emergency Management, and a BS in Fire & Safety Engineering Technology, both from Eastern Kentucky University.
