Jim Smyth

Jim Smyth has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Jim most recently worked at Winmark Corporation as an Accounting Manager since December 2020, after serving as a Sr. Accountant from February 2017 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at SUPERVALU as an Inventory Accountant from April 2016 to February 2017. Jim also worked as a Controller at iBuyOfficeSupply from January 2015 to February 2016, and at Dering Pierson Group, LLC as a Controller from August 2013 to January 2015. Jim Smyth gained valuable experience at Life Time Fitness as an Accounting System Specialist from April 2011 to August 2013, as a Senior Project Accountant from April 2009 to April 2011, and as a Staff Accountant from April 2006 to April 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked at Universal Hospital Services as a Staff Accountant from May 2005 to February 2006, and at SUPERVALU as a CIT Temp in 2005.

Jim Smyth attended Glencoe-Silver Lake High School from 1996 to 2000. Jim then went on to study at Loyola University Chicago from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BBA).
