Erika Paredes

Erika Paredes has a work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Erika started their career at the American Federation of Musicians and Employers’ Pension Fund in 1998 as a Pension Benefit Analyst, where they determined eligibility and calculated pension benefits. Erika also researched and documented administrative processes and coordinated end-of-year projects.

In 2002, Erika became the Assistant Manager of Pension Benefits at the same company. Erika was responsible for managing daily tasks and working with management teams to suggest creative solutions. Erika also oversaw annual projects such as actuarial valuation.

From 2004 to 2007, Erika worked as a Business Architect/Quality Assurance Specialist at the American Federation of Musicians and Employers’ Pension Fund. During this time, they analyzed and corrected business processes, translated user requirements into software requirements, and determined business rules for a new system.

In 2007, Erika joined WinMill Software as a Senior IT Consultant, specializing in fixed-income applications for the Defined Benefits Funds sector. Erika demonstrated skills in business analysis, project management, customer relationship management, and quality assurance. Erika also performed gap and requirements analysis for a Benefit System upgrade implementation for a Pension Fund.
