Kurt Whisenand

Kurt Whisenand currently serves as the Director of Security at the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office since October 2023. Prior to this role, Kurt worked as the Emergency Services & Disaster Agency (ESDA) Coordinator for Winnebago County from May 2022 to December 2023. Kurt's extensive law enforcement career includes nearly 30 years at the Rockford Police Department, where Kurt held the position of Deputy Chief until retirement in March 2022.
