Eric Schomer

Eric Schomer has over 30 years of work experience, with their most recent role being the Director of Business Process Transformation at Winnebago Industries since July 2021. In this position, they are responsible for transforming finance transactional functions through new technology and shared services.

Prior to their current role, Eric worked as the Director of Shared Services at Smart Care Equipment Solutions from November 2017 to July 2021. Here, they built a team of 55 associates, implemented process improvements, and utilized off-shore partners to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and reduce costs.

Before that, Eric held various roles at Ecolab, including Director of Credit Services, LSS Black Belt, Finance Manager, and Treasury Manager. In these roles, they led large teams, integrated acquisitions, implemented technology and process improvements, and managed daily cash positions and banking relationships.

Eric started their career as a Financial Analyst at Piper Jaffray in 1992.

Eric Schomer earned a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance from the same institution from 1996 to 1999.
