Claudiu Ionescu

Claudiu Ionescu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of materials science. Currently serving as the Group Portfolio & Innovation Director at Winoa since August 2013, Claudiu has held various roles within the company, including Product Manager and Innovation Engineer. Prior to Winoa, Claudiu worked as a Product & Development Engineer at Tenaris from November 2012 to July 2013. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science from CentraleSupélec (2009-2012), a Master's degree from Toulouse INP (2007-2008), and a Bachelor's degree from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (2002-2005). Claudiu's doctoral research focused on the characterization of wear mechanisms by tribocorrosion of alloys used in the nuclear industry, complemented by a fellowship from the Roberto Rocca Education Program, which supports talented engineering students.
