Jason Mason has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries over the years. Jason began their career at Randolph Williams as a Payroll Manager, where they handled bi-weekly payroll functions and general bookkeeping for multiple small business accounts. Jason then worked at Texel as a Network Cabling Technician, installing voice and data cabling for an FDIC contract and troubleshooting computer connectivity issues. Jason then moved on to PROVANT, INC. as a Manager of Network & Field Operations, where they were responsible for infrastructure architecture and maintenance, as well as contract management and negotiations with IT service providers. Following this role, they joined Hanley Wood as a Managing Director of Infrastructure & Operations, overseeing infrastructure architecture and maintenance in corporate and public data center facilities. Jason was also involved in contract management and negotiations with various IT service providers. Most recently, Jason worked at Winsight, LLC as the SVP of Information Technology and Security. In this role, they focused on infrastructure architecture, security, and ongoing operations in both corporate and public cloud environments. Jason also handled privacy process creation and oversight, as well as contract management and negotiations with IT service providers. Jason's work experience demonstrates their expertise in IT infrastructure and operations, contract management, and leadership roles.

Jason Mason attended Mclean High School from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a High School Diploma in the fields of Accounting and Computer Science. After high school, Jason's education history does not provide specific start and end years, but they attended Northern Virginia Community College to pursue a degree in Business Management with a focus on Cybersecurity.

In addition to their formal education, Jason has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they became a certified Real Estate Agent through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Later, in 2016, they obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)². In 2017, they further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) certification from the same institution. Finally, in June 2023, Jason completed a course named "How to Speak So People Want to Listen" offered through LinkedIn.
