Suzy Perkins

Suzy Perkins is an accomplished violinist and music educator with extensive experience in both performance and teaching. Currently serving as a violinist for the Winston-Salem Symphony since September 2019, Suzy also holds teaching positions at Salem College as an Alexander Technique and violin instructor since 2007, and at Wake Forest University as an adjunct instructor of the Alexander Technique until May 2024. Additionally, Suzy has been an adjunct instructor at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from January 2010 to May 2024. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Music Performance (Violin) from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where Suzy also obtained a high school diploma in Music Performance. Currently enrolled at Forsyth Technical Community College, Suzy is pursuing further education until July 2025.
