Charlie Papavizas

Charlie Papavizas is a seasoned maritime attorney with a robust career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Partner and Chair of the Maritime Practice Group at Winston & Strawn LLP since November 1995, Charlie previously held a partnership role at Blank Rome LLP from July 1986 to November 1995. Earlier in the career, Charlie worked as an Associate at Berliner, Corcoran & Rowe, LLP from 1984 to 1986. Charlie's academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School, a Master of International Affairs in International Security Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
