Berni Wood

Berni Wood has been in the business and communications industry for over 30 years. In 2002, they founded Berni Wood & Associates, a management consultant company that provides services in Project Management, Event & Association Management, International Trade Management, Strategic Consulting, including Business Plans & Implementation, Media Relations & Communications, Training & Facilitation, Research, and Strategic Planning. Berni is a trained Project Management Professional and a FITT Certified International Trade Professional. That same year, they also founded Reel Media, a company that specializes in Professional Photography, Commercial Video Production, Website Design & Creative and Advertising/Promotion, as well as consulting services to the communications, multi-media, and entertainment industries. In 2011, they became a Project Management Consultant for WINstorm Presents Inc., a company that provides business and marketing expertise with proprietary software. From 2002 to 2011, they were the Regional Vice President - Atlantic Canada for the Canadian Television Fund, a private-public initiative with a budget of approx. $230 million annually created to provide funding programs for the Canadian television and film industry. From 1982 to 2002, they were the Director of Film & New Media for the Province of Prince Edward Island.

Berni Wood has an education history that includes a degree in International Trade from the University of Prince Edward Island, a degree in Business Administration from Holland College, and courses in Professional Photography and Photography from the New York Institute of Photography and Holland College respectively. Wood also has a number of certifications, including a Master of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada (2015), a Craftsman of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada (2014), a Certified International Trade Professional from FITT - Forum for International Trade Training (2008), an Accredited Photographer from the Professional Photographers of Canada, Dale Carnegie Training from Dale Carnegie, and Project Management Essentials from the Project Management Institute.
