Rijk Muis

Rijk Muis has extensive work experience in various financial and consulting roles. Rijk is currently the COO - Asia at Wintermute, joining in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Fenix One from 2017 to 2021, where they specialized in proprietary trading and multi-asset arbitrage. From 2012 to 2016, Rijk served as the CFO at SB Limited. Rijk also held the positions of COO Algorithmic Trading / Finance Director at IND-X Advisors Limited from 2012 to 2015, and COO / CFO at Ingensoma Trading Group Ltd from 2009 to 2011. Rijk's earlier experiences include roles as a freelance consultant at Royal Bank of Scotland, a consultant at Van der Moolen, and a freelance consultant at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and General Electric. Rijk began their career as an Accountant - Relationship Manager at Amstellanden Accountants & Tax Advisors in 2004.

Rijk Muis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) between 1990 and 1995. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Markus Verbeek Praehep, where they pursued a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) program. Finally, Rijk Muis completed a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) from 2008 to 2010.
