Francisco Santos

Francisco Santos has extensive work experience in the health, safety, and environment (HSE) field. Francisco is currently working at Winthrop Technologies as an Environment Health Safety Lead since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Exyte as a Health Safety Environment Advisor from June 2020 to June 2023. Francisco also has experience in managing HSE projects and compliance at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Africa and Stefanutti Stocks REM. Francisco has shown capabilities in managing single or multiple projects, implementing HSE management systems, and providing leadership in improving safety attitudes and behaviors. Francisco has also been involved in vendor prequalification and accreditation processes, compiling tender documents, and developing HSE training materials. Francisco has a background in safety management, as they worked as an HSE Manager at Stefanutti Stocks REM and a Safety Officer at Murray and Roberts. Additionally, they have previous experience outside the HSE field as a Head Concierge at Intercontinental Johannesburg Sandton Towers.

Francisco Santos holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from uofs, which they obtained between 1989 and 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Matric/Grade 12 School Certificate in General Sciences at vaal high school from 1978 to 1983. Francisco also holds several certificates in various fields. Francisco obtained a Certificate in Industrial Engineering from NEBOSCH in 2012, a Certificate in HSE Auditing from Advantage ACT in 2009, and a Certificate in HSE Management from NOSA in 2004.
