Eghbal Ghazizadeh

Eghbal Ghazizadeh is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Cybersecurity Program Director at Wipro since April 2025, overseeing security operations and compliance. Previously, Eghbal held roles as Principal Security Architect at 3Columns and Head of Cyber Security at Mercury NZ, focusing on security architecture and program implementation. Eghbal's extensive background includes teaching at Whitireia Community Polytechnic and conducting research as a Cloud Security Architect at AUT University, alongside consulting for InfoSecCo and serving as Information Security Manager at the Ministry of IMT. Eghbal earned a PhD in Cloud Access Security Broker from Auckland University of Technology and possesses a Master of Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, along with a Bachelor's degree from Shahid Beheshti University.
