Parag Salgaonkar

Parag Salgaonkar has a diverse range of work experience. Parag started their career as a Summer Intern at Aarya Eserve Technologies, where they worked on designing and developing a Disaster Recovery system and provided assistance with network troubleshooting. In 2017, they joined the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business as a Research Assistant, focusing on data analysis. During the same year, they also worked at the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) as a Software Developer and later transitioned to a QA Engineer role, where they were responsible for writing test cases, designing test automation scripts, and testing data integrity for a nationwide application. Parag then served as a Corporate Technical Intern at Paradyme Management Inc., where they contributed to the development of a Resume Parser application by implementing a python script and creating a dynamic UI. Currently, Parag is working at WireWheel as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, utilizing their skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's systems.

Parag Salgaonkar completed their Master of Science (MS) in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Maryland from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Parag also received several certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2017 and October 2017, respectively. Parag also obtained the Foundations of Networking certification from Lynda.com in January 2017.
