Ben van Uden

Ben van Uden has a diverse work experience. Ben started their career at Ballast Nedam as a Rayonmanager in 1996, then worked at Krauthammer International as a Consultant from 1998 to 2003. Ben later served as the hoofd Openbare Werken at Gemeente Maasdriel in 2004 and became the bestuurslid at Heusden ÉÉN from 2008 to 2011. From 2005 to 2011, they were the CEO of Van Rens B.V. In 2010, they joined the Ministerie van Defensie as a Reserve Officer (Captain) until 2013. Ben then founded G.I. Consult in 2011, where they worked as the Owner until 2016. In 2011, they also became the Sales Manager and later the Operationeel Directeur at Wirtgen Nederland B.V. In 2016, they became the Directeur / Managing Director of Wirtgen Nederland at WIRTGEN GROUP, where they currently work. Ben briefly returned to the Ministerie van Defensie from 2018 to 2019 as a Captain in the 1CMI Command.

Ben van Uden studied Civil Engineering at HTS 's-Hertogenbosch from 1984 to 1987, earning a degree of "ing." During this period, they also attended IJmond MTS from 1981 to 1984, where they focused on Civil Engineering. In 2008 and 2009, Ben attended Nyenrode Business University, completing an Advanced Management Program.
