Heinrich Schulenburg has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. From 1997 to 2009, they served as Director and GM at TFM Industries (Pty) Ltd, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including financial assessment, human resources, and sales functions. Additionally, they managed one of the manufacturing plants and played a key role in business development and projects.
In 2009, Schulenburg joined Wirtgen South Africa (Pty) Ltd as Managing Director. In this position, they had full accountability for the Sales and Service subsidiary of the German International Wirtgen Group. Their responsibilities included financial, HR, spare parts sales, and marketing functions. Schulenburg represented the company on the board, ensuring compliance and proper governance through auditing functions and risk management interventions. Heinrich also oversaw regional dealerships in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, neighboring countries, as well as Zambia and Malawi.
Heinrich Schulenburg completed their education in a chronological order. Heinrich obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, studying from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they pursued a B.Eng Metallurgical degree with a focus on Physical Metallurgy at the same institution from 1981 to 1985. Heinrich also holds additional certifications including Certified Director from the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, obtained in November 2019, Advanced Business Rescue Practice course from Unisa and the Law Society, obtained in July 2019, Member of IoDSA from the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, obtained in September 2018, and Professional Engineer from the Engineering Council of South Africa, obtained in September 1992.
