Manuel Rossa

Manuel Rossa is a Geoinformatik Systems Engineer at WIRTGEN GROUP since August 2021, serving as the Product Owner for the 'AutoPilot 2.0', a system focused on 3D worksite planning and machine control for slipform pavers. Previously, Manuel held the role of Projektkoordinator at Kompetenznetzwerk automatisierte und vernetzte Mobilität - innocam.NRW from March 2020 to August 2021, and worked as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at the Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge (ika) - RWTH Aachen University from July 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, Manuel gained experience as a Student Assistant at fka GmbH and the Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge (ika) during various periods from 2012 to 2018. Manuel holds a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from both RWTH Aachen University and Michigan State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
