Sara van Pelt

Sara Van Pelt has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering and design. Sara started their career as a Student Engineer at SIAM Center from September 2008 to May 2011. Sara then joined KJWW Engineering Consultants as a Mechanical Engineer from November 2011 to January 2014. Sara then worked at SSOE Group (formerly Evergreen EDC) as a Mechanical Designer from August 2014 to February 2015. Sara continued their career at Mazzetti as a Mechanical Designer from February 2015 to October 2018. After that, they joined Mazzetti + GBA as a Senior Mechanical Designer from February 2017 to October 2018. Currently, Sara is working at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, where they started as a Mechanical Designer from October 2018 and later transitioned to the role of a Mechanical Engineer in November 2019.

Sara Van Pelt obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In December 2019, they obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Oregon.
