Daniel Goffart

Daniel Goffart is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in economic and political reporting. Currently serving as Chefreporter at WirtschaftsWoche for the WirtschaftsWoche Handelsblatt Media Group since August 2020, Goffart previously held the position of Redaktionsleiter for Berlin at FOCUS Magazin from April 2012 to July 2020. Prior roles include Ressortleiter for Wirtschaft & Politik at Handelsblatt from 2008 to 2012, and Bevollmächtigter für Politik und Regulierungsstrategie at Deutsche Telekom between 2004 and 2008. Goffart began their career at Handelsblatt as a Parlamentskorrespondent from 1995 to 2004, and was a Reporter for Berlin and the new federal states at Berliner Morgenpost from 1992 to 1994. Goffart also worked briefly as a lawyer at Ullstein Buchverlage GmbH in 1991. Goffart earned a 1. juristisches Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from The University of Bonn.
