Mitchell Fantuz has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to the present. Mitchell is currently working as a Senior DSP Engineer at WiSA Technologies, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a DSP Engineer at Bose Corporation from August 2019 to November 2021. At Bose, they researched and designed algorithms for noise cancelling and sound enhancement features for automotive applications, and also developed applications and tools to support algorithm design and tuning.
Before Bose, Mitchell worked at NordiaSoft as a Signal Processing Engineer from September 2018 to August 2019. Mitchell also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa from September 2017 to August 2019, where they gained experience in various research projects.
Mitchell's career began at the University of Windsor as an Outstanding Scholar from September 2014 to August 2017. Here, they worked on implementing DSP boards, applying DSP applications such as filter design, and utilizing calculus theorems for 3D grid computation. Mitchell also gained experience as an Engineering Assistant at Dajcor Aluminum Ltd. from May 2014 to December 2016.
Mitchell Fantuz completed their Master's of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Windsor from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Mitchell also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in March 2022.
