Ground Instructor at Wisconsin Aviation

Andrew Maza is an experienced professional with a diverse background in environmental health and safety, education, and aviation. As the owner of Andrew Maza - Handyman & Maintenance LLC since December 2023, Andrew has also served as the EHS Project Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since December 2009, where responsibilities include coordinating and managing various projects within the Environment, Health, and Safety group. Andrew has held multiple educational roles, including Chemical Safety Specialist and Faculty Assistant, teaching advanced organic chemistry courses. Additionally, Andrew has been a Ground Instructor at Wisconsin Aviation, Inc. since April 2022, providing FAA-licensed ground instruction to student pilots. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, all obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
