Rob Brinks

Student Pilot at Wisconsin Aviation

Rob Brinks is an experienced professional with a diverse background in ministry, public safety, aviation, and education. Currently serving as a Chaplain at Fox Lake Correctional Institution since October 2022, Rob focuses on building spiritual and personal skills in individuals. Simultaneously, Rob has been active as a Search and Rescue Diver with the Columbia County Sheriff's Department since July 2017, holding multiple SCUBA certifications. A student pilot with Wisconsin Aviation, Rob is working towards a private pilot's license and additional endorsements. Additionally, Rob is a Bow Instructor trained under the National Archery in Schools Program, teaching archery skills. Previous roles include maintenance management at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, tactical aircraft mechanic, and F-16 crew chief with the Wisconsin Air National Guard, and assistant to the Director of Collections at EAA. Rob's educational background includes certifications in ministry and counseling, as well as an A&P degree from Fox Valley Technical College.
