Alexander Mandl

Alexander Mandl serves as the Board President, Conductor, and Violinist for the Milwaukee Musaik | Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra since March 2015. Additional roles include Orchestra and Chamber Musician at Sunflower Music Festival Inc. since June 2007, and Conductor for the Medical College of Wisconsin Orchestra since July 2020. Alexander Mandl has held various positions in music education, including Violin faculty at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Adjunct Professor of Violin & Conductor at Wisconsin Lutheran College, and Associate Lecturer of Violin at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. As Concertmaster for both the Racine Symphony Orchestra and Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Mandl has extensive performance experience. Education credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University.

Wisconsin Conservatory of Music

The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the largest non-profit community music school in the state. Founded in 1899, the Conservatory provides musical experiences to students from age four months to adults, to all levels of abilities, working to develop creative, artistic, and whole individuals.
