Diana Shapiro is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Piano at Silver Lake College since 2012, with extensive teaching experience that includes roles at Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and Maranatha Baptist University. As a pianist in the Piano Duo Varshavski-Shapiro since 1998, Diana has performed widely across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Diana's accolades include winning prestigious competitions such as the Murray Dranoff International Two Piano Competition and the International Piano Competition "Rome 2004". Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and multiple degrees from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Diana has also contributed to various radio and television broadcasts globally, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication to the art of piano.

The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the largest non-profit community music school in the state. Founded in 1899, the Conservatory provides musical experiences to students from age four months to adults, to all levels of abilities, working to develop creative, artistic, and whole individuals.
