Karen Strobel

Karen Strobel is an experienced Program and Policy Analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections since November 2015, where responsibilities include assessing and monitoring clients' mental health and wellbeing, formulating case plans, and providing counseling. Previously, Karen served as a Senior Veterans Social Worker and State Trainer, coordinating care plans and managing services for veterans in an incarcerated setting. Additionally, since February 2024, Karen is an Adjunct Professor at Moraine Park Technical College, teaching courses on leadership development, project management, and social sciences. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management at Marian University of Fond du Lac.
