Karin Smith

Karin Smith is an accomplished educational and career development professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since February 2019, Karin has served as an Academic and Career Planning and Dual Enrollment Consultant at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, fostering partnerships to enhance post-secondary opportunities for PK-12 students. Prior to this role, Karin held positions including Regional Career Pathways Director for Milwaukee at Pathways Wisconsin and Inspire Professional Development Specialist at CESA #1, focusing on career-based learning initiatives. As the Board President of Community Career Connections, Inc., Karin led programs that empowered youth through leadership development. Additional contributions include involvement with the Governor's Council on Workforce Investment, Milwaukee Water Council, and GROW.HERE. project, all aimed at workforce development and alignment. Karin's entrepreneurial background includes founding Community Connections Consulting, LLC, which connects youth with career-focused experiences.
