Alice Jackson has extensive work experience in various roles within different organizations. ALICE started their career in 1985 as the Chief Nursery Inspector at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, where they worked until 1989. ALICE then joined the Department of Employment Relations and held several positions, including Equal Opportunity Specialist, Staffing Analyst, and Recruitment Supervisor, from 1989 to 2000. In February 2000, they transitioned to the Wisconsin Historical Society, where they took on the role of Human Resources Director.

Alice Jackson completed their Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1977 to 1982. ALICE then pursued a Master's degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from the same university from 1982 to 1985.
