Sara Shaw

Sara R. Shaw serves as the Deputy Research Director at the Wisconsin Policy Forum, focusing on education and child-related issues while also supporting the Forum's research initiatives. Previously, Sara held several key roles at the Illinois State Board of Education, including Senior Manager of Fiscal & Academic Solvency, where contributions were made to align fiscal and academic policies, and Managing Director of Education Policy, advising on K-12 policies. Experience includes program management and policy development roles at Mass Insight Education and Teaching For America, as well as teaching Spanish across various educational institutions. Sara R. Shaw holds degrees from Princeton University, Marquette University, and Georgetown University, alongside fellowships in education finance and equity.
