Anya van Wagtendonk

Anya van Wagtendonk is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background in political reporting, misinformation analysis, and multimedia production. Currently serving as a Capitol Reporter for Wisconsin Public Radio since January 2023, Anya previously held positions including Misinformation Reporter at Grid and Politics/Policy Writer & Editor at Vox.com. Additional experience includes reporting on elections for the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism and serving as a Staff Reporter at MLive.com, where coverage focused on government and environmental issues in west Michigan. Anya's freelance work involves contributing to notable publications such as The Washington Post and POLITICO Magazine, with a strong foundation in urban reporting and literature from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and Yale University.
