Richardson Paye Jr

Richardson Paye Jr is currently serving as an Assistant State Public Defender at the Wisconsin State Public Defender's Office since January 2023, following a role as a Clinical Law Student at the Economic Justice Institute's Eviction Defense Clinic from September 2022 to May 2023. Prior to these positions, Richardson gained experience as a Summer Law Clerk at Northwestern Mutual in the summer of 2022. A background in security was established through a role as a Security Officer at Per Mar Security Services from October 2018 to May 2021, where responsibilities included collaborating with local emergency services and ensuring the safety of over 3,000 employees. Additionally, Richardson gained practical experience as a Field Placement Student at SSM Health, assisting with psychological assessments and attending therapeutic sessions between September 2019 and January 2020. Academically, Richardson is pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) at the University of Wisconsin Law School, expected to graduate in 2024, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2020.
