Rick Montoya

Rick Montoya has extensive experience in consulting and capturing government contracts. In 2001, they founded Rick Montoya & Associates Consulting and Capture Strategies, where they served as President and CEO. In this role, they implemented business and political strategies to enhance the success of bidding and winning government contracts. Rick provided services such as writing winning proposals, providing growth and teaming guidance, and developing innovative solutions.

In 2009, Montoya joined The Centech Group as a VP/Consultant and later transitioned to an on-call consultant due to relocation. Rick was responsible for identifying, qualifying, organizing, managing, and capturing federal contracting opportunities. Rick established strategic relationships and developed capture strategies for federal RFP and task orders.

In 2011, Montoya became Senior Vice President at Manzano Strategies, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and 8(a) firm. Rick continued to identify, qualify, and capture federal contracting opportunities while establishing strategic relationships to provide total solutions to the government. Additionally, they served as the Senior VP of Sales and Capture, where they focused on winning government and commercial contracts in IT, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors.

Montoya also worked at A&T Systems, Inc. as a VP from 2001 to 2007.

More recently, in 2018, they joined Wisdom Tree Technologies, LLC as the Senior Vice President for Innovation and Quality Control.
