Emily Hallam has several years of experience in event management and support roles. Emily started their career at Campbelltown Catholic Club in 2013, where they worked as an Events Team Leader and later as an Events Supervisor. In these positions, they oversaw the setup, servicing, and pack down of events, supervised teams of up to 40 staff, and ensured client satisfaction. Emily also handled customer complaints, trained and motivated staff, and ensured compliance with RSA legislation.
In 2019, Emily joined Sofitel Sydney Wentworth as a Conference and Events Coordinator. Emily coordinated meeting rooms, communicated with relevant departments, and managed client requirements for corporate and social events. Emily also handled payments, billing, and assisted in converting sales enquiries.
Emily's most recent role was at WISE Employment, where they held the positions of Candidate Officer and In Work Support Officer. As a Candidate Officer, they supported job seekers and assisted with the recruitment process. In their role as an In Work Support Officer, they provided post-placement support to clients, ensured accurate reporting, resolved employment issues, and processed wage subsidies.
Throughout their career, Emily demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Emily Hallam began their education in 2006 at Mount Carmel Catholic College. Emily completed their Higher School Certificate and ATAR in 2011. Later, in 2013, they attended TAFE NSW, where they pursued a Diploma of Hospitality in the field of Hospitality Administration/Management. Their education at TAFE NSW came to an end in 2014.
