Nita Patel

Nita Patel currently serves as the Group Chief Compliance Officer at Wise since November 2025. Prior to this role, Nita was the Group Head of Anti-Money Laundering at Deutsche Bank from September 2024 to October 2025 and the Chief Compliance Officer at Credit Suisse from May 2022 to August 2024, overseeing both Asset Management and the UK Investment Bank. Nita also held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Credit Suisse International from May 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Credit Suisse, Nita worked at Goldman Sachs for over 17 years, culminating in the role of Managing Director and Head of Asset Management Compliance for EMEA and APAC. Nita began a career in compliance at Nomura International from January 2001 to December 2003, focusing on Fixed Income Compliance.
