Pavlo Tertychnyi

Pavlo Tertychnyi is a Data Science Team Lead with extensive experience in developing machine learning models for fraud detection and prevention. Previously, Pavlo worked as a Data Scientist at Swedbank, where they led a team and improved money laundering detection systems. Their academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and advanced degrees in Computer Science from the University of Tartu, culminating in a PhD. In a prior role, Pavlo also contributed to predictive modeling and customer analysis as a Junior Research Fellow. Currently, they hold a position as a Data Science Lead at Wise, where they continue to innovate in fraud prevention technologies.
