Vicky Jones

Vicky Jones has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Oboe and Cor Anglais player until 2015. In 2015, they joined the Royal Northern College of Music where they served as a Professional Experience Schemes and Placements Administrator, overseeing projects and maintaining relationships with professional orchestras. Vicky also briefly worked as an Orchestras and Ensembles Assistant during this time. In 2022, Vicky joined Polyphony Arts as an Artist Manager, where they promoted classical musicians, wrote funding bids, and networked to acquire new clients. Vicky later transitioned to WISE in the same year as a Marketing Executive.

Vicky Jones has a strong educational background in music, particularly in the field of oboe performance. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the Royal Academy of Music, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Oboe performance and a BMus (Hons) in Classical Music Performance. Additionally, they studied oboe performance at the Royal Northern College of Music from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a PGDip.
