Rajiv Abraham

Rajiv Abraham has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Rajiv started off as a Junior Software Developer at Esstech Software Services, where they developed web pages in ASP.NET and stored procedures and triggers for managing databases in SQL Server 2000. In 2005, they became a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Concordia University while completing their Masters Degree in Computer Science. In 2008, they joined SAP Labs as a Java Developer and was also a coach for XP practices. From 2013-2014, they worked as a Big Data Developer and a Software Engineer at Consulting and Moneris Solutions respectively. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of 15Rock, where they integrated JupyterHub into the 15Rock platform. Finally, in 2020, they joined Wisedocs as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer and a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they created ML Product and MLOps roadmaps, brought in business metrics for the ML pipeline using DuckDB, improved prediction of messy data with fuzzy matching, wrote ETL pipelines using Ray and Modin, deployed Multi Model Inference pipelines using Ray Serve, introduced Determined.ai to the company, sped up training cycles with it, and load tested prediction servers with Locust.

Rajiv Abraham began their educational career at St. John before attending the University of Mumbai from 2000 to 2004 where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Rajiv then went on to Concordia University from 2005 to 2007 where they earned a Masters in Computer Science. In December 2013, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
