Franck Buonanno

Franck Buonanno has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Franck currently serves as the VP Global Sales at WISeKey SA since January 2024, where they are responsible for leading the sales team on a global scale. Prior to this, they held the position of EMEA Sales Director at WISeKey SA starting from August 2021.

Before joining WISeKey SA, Franck worked as a Business and Sales development Consultant at Realtive Change since January 2012. This was a part-time job where they primarily focused on emerging countries such as Brazil, India, Israel, and South Africa.

Franck has also gained experience in the nonprofit sector, as they briefly served as a Projects Manager at Cameleon, a humanitarian association, from May 2012 to June 2012.

Franck'sextensive experience in sales and business development can be traced back to their tenure at Atmel Corporation, where they worked for 15 years starting from July 1996. Initially, they held the position of Sales and Business development Manager, overseeing a team of 5 people and managing sales in India, Israel, and South Africa territories, along with certain key accounts in Europe. Later, they were promoted to the role of Sales Director, responsible for a team of 15 people and leading sales in Eastern countries, India, Israel, the Middle East, and Africa. Franck played a crucial role in direct sales to key customers, managing distributors, representatives networks, and running Atmel offices in India, Israel, and South Africa.

To kickstart their career, Franck worked as a Sales and Business development Engineer at ES2 from January 1992 to June 1996, followed by the role of Product Marketing Engineer from July 1990 to December 1991.

Franck Buonanno received a Master's Degree in an unspecified field of study from Sciences Po Aix between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng in Microelectronics from Polytech Montpellier from 1987 to 1990. In September 2012, Franck Buonanno completed a finance training program at Cegos.
