Jemma Sargeant

Jemma Sargeant is a Marine Biologist and Educator currently employed at WiseOceans since November 2024. Prior to this role, Jemma served as a Marine Science Officer at Ocean Generation from September 2023 to November 2024 and worked as a Research Assistant and Divemaster at the Institute for Marine Research between March and June 2023, contributing to the Dauin Long-Term Reef Monitoring Project. Jemma also held the position of Youth Ambassador for the United Nations Association - Climate and Oceans as well as the United Nations Association - UK from February 2021 to June 2022, advocating for youth involvement in policy discussions. Jemma holds a Master of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Southampton, completed in 2022.
