Glenn Austin

Glenn Austin is a seasoned electrical and FPGA engineer with extensive experience in design and verification across multiple aerospace and technology companies. Currently serving as a Staff FPGA Engineer at Wisk, Glenn focuses on FPGA design and verification for electronic propulsion systems in generation 6 aircraft. Previous roles include Principal FPGA Designer and Supervisor at Vaddio, where significant contributions included the establishment of an image quality testing lab, and Principal Electrical Design Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems, where Glenn was instrumental in developing the FPGA for the A350 Taxi Aid Camera. Notable expertise spans PLD/FPGA design in Verilog and VHDL, using platforms such as Microchip Polarfire, and familiarity with a range of design tools.
