Jun Zhuang is a Computational Neuroscientist at Wispr since June 2023. Previously, Jun Zhuang served as the Chief Science Officer at Neucleus NeuroTech, Inc. from August 2022 to March 2023, co-founding the startup focused on developing next-generation personalized non-invasive neuromodulation medical devices. Jun Zhuang’s experience at the Allen Institute from October 2013 to July 2022 includes roles as Scientist I, II, and III, where Jun Zhuang co-led large-scale research projects, developed software tools for data analysis, and led a team to discover new organization principles of the mouse visual system. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology, Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut and both an M.S. and a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Biology, respectively, from the University of Science and Technology of China.
