Ira Brind has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various institutions. Since October 2005, Ira Brind has served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and has held a similar role at the Young Scholar Charter School since November 2014. Additionally, Ira Brind has been a member of the Board of Trustees at The Wistar Institute since 1987 and has been President of Brind Investments, Inc. since January 1981. Previous positions include Pasr Trustee on the Board of Trustees at The Connelly Foundation (May 1998 - June 2021), Trustee Emeritus at Thomas Jefferson University (May 1985 - June 2021), and Chairman of the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine (May 1998 - May 2018). Ira Brind also contributed to the governance of Verified Person (2005 - May 2016), served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Jefferson Health System (2010 - 2014), and held the position of Vice Chairman at The University of the Arts (1985 - June 2013). Ira Brind earned a BA and JD in Biology and Law from the University of Pennsylvania between 1959 and 1967.
