Roy Ang

Roy Ang has a diverse work experience in roles related to business development, marketing, and management. Roy is currently the Executive Director and Head of Business Development & Marketing at Withersworldwide, focusing on coordinating business services functions in the APAC region, driving sustainability goals, and ensuring effective internal communication. Prior to this, they held various positions at Withersworldwide, including Regional Marketing & Business Development Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. Roy has also worked at Hays as a Recruitment Consultant & Business Development and at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre as Deputy Head of Business Development. Roy has experience in market growth strategies, client management, and training. Previous roles include positions at the Singapore Economic Development Board, LIROS Capital, Julius Baer, and Systems Technology Pte Ltd.

Roy Ang began their education journey in 2007 at Singapore Management University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Management degree specializing in Finance & Marketing. Roy successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2011, graduating with top honors, Summa Cum Laude.

In 2010, Roy furthered their education by participating in two distinct programs. Firstly, they attended Copenhagen Business School for an International Student Exchange Program, focusing on Finance. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Accreditation Certificate in Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services from Singapore College of Insurance.

The following year, in 2009, Roy participated in a Local Student Exchange Program at the National University of Singapore, specializing in Finance and Marketing.

Roy continued their pursuit of education in 2012, attending INSEAD for an Executive Education program. The program focused on Corporate Strategy & Implementation as well as Applied Macroeconomics.

Aside from their formal education, Roy Ang has also acquired several certifications. In 2010, they obtained the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services Examinations certification from the Singapore College of Insurance. In 2014, they received the Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) from the Ministry of Manpower. In 2016, they obtained the STEP Certificate for Financial Services from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. Lastly, in 2017, they completed the Squared Online Certificate in Digital Marketing from Squared Online, which was developed in partnership with Google.
